New Zealand, South Island Adventure
Seven days. Eight people.
November 2027
I'm running a trip. One week in the south island of New zealand! think Queenstown, Glenorchy, Wanaka, milford sound, mt cook for eight people who are travelling on their own.
We'll shoot every day, and you'll go home with a set of pictures you're actually proud of. But that isn't really what it's for.
What to Expect
The trip is the people. The photography is the excuse
The camera is the excuse. It means there's always something to talk about, something to do with your hands, and a reason to be standing on a riverbank at 7am in the morning with people you met on Sunday.
I've been on trips where you spend the first three days working out who to sit next to. This won't be one of those. There's no going round the room introducing yourself. We start by doing something.
The week, roughly
Not an itinerary. A rhythm.
Mornings
Out shooting. The light comes up late enough in November that nobody has to be heroic about it.
Afternoons
Loose. Edit if you want to. Walk somewhere if you don't.
Evenings
The good light, which in late November runs until nearly nine..
A Few big days
